Responsibilities

 

  • Prepare pre-departure safety checklist
  • Provide a safe and enjoyable environment for passengers
  • Greet passengers outside and line them up to general coach areas before train arrival
  • Assist passengers with boarding and use wheelchair lift if necessary
  • Make announcements
  • Interact with passengers
  • Senior Attendant makes welcome and pre-departure safety announcements then checks office to ensure all tickets are picked up
  • Walk through coaches helping seat passengers, arranging families together and/or moving if necessary to other coaches
  • Hand out souvenir magazines to all passengers and pass out any requested headsets for foreign languages
  • Circulate throughout coaches answering questions and chatting with passengers always in a friendly and respectful manner
