The Hub Associate is responsible for unloading and sorting in our cross-dock facility. This includes receiving inbound freight from linehaul trucks, classifying freight, and palletizing freight.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING (OTHER DUTIES MAY BE ASSIGNED):
· Scan packages to confirm receipt
· Move packages from pallets to assigned scan location
· Inspect packaging for defects and damages
· Follow company safety guidelines
· Keep warehouse clean and organized
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS & ABILITIES
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
· Ability to use a scanner
· Organizational and time management skills
· Warehouse experience preferred
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed primarily in a warehouse environment with frequent interruptions from team members and independent contractors, and regular high noise level.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & PHYSICAL DEMANDS
· Must be able to frequently lift or carry 10-20 pounds
· Must be able to regularly lift, carry, or push up to 50 pounds
· Must be able to frequently stand, walk, and reach with arms
· Must be able to maneuver and access all areas of the warehouse
