Hourly Pay Range: $27.56 After 180 day progression
Primary Purpose
Work with crews loading/unloading barges, trucks and rail cars by operating a variety of equipment.
Job Responsibilities/Duties
- Work with crews loading/unloading barges, trucks and railcars
- Operate a variety of equipment such as, but not limited to: pumps, boiler, hot oil heaters, track mobile
- Diagnose problems and maintain a variety of liquid handling equipment
- Assist in the transportation and movement of oil and chemicals
- Service and lubricate machines and equipment
- Perform work area housekeeping functions and help in providing equipment maintenance to operational area and equipment as directed by supervision
- All other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule. First and second shift work will be required. Must be willing to work overtime hours during the week and/or weekends and holidays depending on the demands of the business
- Must be able to withstand extreme weather conditions as majority of the time will be working outside
- Must obtain Safety training/certification as required by customers to work in their facilities and as required by Watco Companies at all locations
- Must be able to work with a team, take direction from supervisors, keep required work schedules, focus attention on details, and follow work rules
- Ability to take initiative and work with co-workers to accomplish defined goals in a fast paced environment
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Successful completion of background check and drug screen upon offer
- Must be willing to obtain a TWIC card
Working Conditions
