Hourly pay rate: $19.00 - $20.00

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the safe operation of all equipment required in this position
  • Required Equipment- 8000 lb/15,000 lb/36,000 lb Forklift/Mobile Belt Conveyor/Terminal Tractor.
  • Perform Daily inspections and maintenance checks on equipment.
  • Communicate via 2-way radio with Supervisors, Team Members, Customer’s, and 3rd Party Drivers.
  • Perform all work in compliance with Company standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Follow written Dual Verification procedures on all material movements.
  • Perform ALL job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school education or general education (GED)
  • Must be 18 years or older
  • Have a valid Driver’s License
  • 5 or more year(s) related experience preferred but not required
  • Applicant must pass the General SOP testing, Heavy Equipment function test, Team Member demonstration check list, and Fit For Duty Physical.
  • Must be able to pass and or obtain all reporting, testing, and certifications as required for this position.

Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Learn from directions, observations, and mistakes and apply procedures using good judgment.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to show proficiency operating the following equipment:8000 lb/15,000 lb /36,000 lb Forklift/Mobile Belt Conveyor/Terminal Tractor.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team and interact appropriately with others.
  • Ability to work in all types of weather.
  • Ability to work the scheduled shifts required for the position and/ or overtime as needed.
  • Maintain regular, dependable attendance and a high level of performance.
