Job Description: Focuses on assisting with the needs of the Account Managers to assure we are providing the best customer experience possible.

 

  • Maintain Confidentiality with all information provided.
  • Follows all safety rules and policies and report any safety issues.
  • Provide quality service, maintain a positive and friendly demeanor, exhibit professionalism and a strong work ethic.
  • Must be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and have strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of the terminals’ operating capabilities and processes.
  • Ability to adjust to changing operating conditions and work with a team.
  • Develop and maintain clear communications with each Account Manager and Vessel Manager to understand their needs, directions, and special requirements.
  • Enter Customer Releases, Inbounds, Uploads into TOS following Account Services Processes and customer specific requirements.
  • Ensure all inbounds and releases are entered in a timely fashion following First In First Out except for any HOT request.
  • Verify entered Customer and Account Data by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or reentering data. 
  • Update Data Entry Log real time for all tasks completed throughout the day.
  • Assist Account Managers by reviewing Open Shipping Container Report and pulling documentation to close any open containers.
  • Assist Account Managers in closing open inbound orders.
  • Generate spreadsheet reports if needed.
  • Must be able to work weekly and weekend on call rotation. 
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by Supervisor/Manager.
