Job Summary

The I&E Supervisor oversees the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and instrumentation systems used in industrial processes. This role provides technical leadership, manages priorities and workforce scheduling, and ensures all work is performed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct I&E technicians, assign daily tasks, and ensure safe, compliant work practices
• Prioritize maintenance and repair activities for instrumentation, control systems, and electrical equipment
• Coordinate with internal departments, external vendors, contractors, and customers to support operations
• Oversee installation, calibration, troubleshooting, and testing of sensors, PLCs, control panels, and related systems
• Review technical drawings, P&IDs, and schematics to guide accurate work execution
• Manage documentation, work orders, and equipment records; ensure regulatory compliance (NEC, OSHA, NFPA 70E)  
• Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, and replacement parts; assist with procurement needs 
• Support system upgrades, commissioning activities, and continuous improvement initiatives 
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• ISA CCST certification highly preferred
• Journeyman or Master Electrician license highly preferred
• Prior supervisory or lead experience in electrical/instrumentation work
• Strong knowledge of electrical, instrumentation, and control systems (including PLCs)
• Proven troubleshooting, diagnostic, and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational, communication, and documentation abilities
• Valid Driver’s License required
• Bilingual skills a plus
• Commitment to safety practices and regulatory compliance

Education

Must be 18 years of age or older with High School or GED equivalent
