Job Summary
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.
Location: 14035 Industrial Rd., Houston, TX 77015
This position developsm implements, and maintains training programs and standard operating procedures to support consistent, high-quality performance across customer service and operations teams. It evaluates team efficiency, identifies training needs, ensures compliance with established processes, and prvides clear feedback to both team members and management. The role also requires accurate documentation, adherence to company and regulatory standards, and additional duties as assigned.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Gather and document business requirements, translating them into technical specifications
• Plan and coordinate end-user reviews for new and existing systems, configurations, and integrations
• Facilitate stakeholder brainstorming sessions to define problems and successful solutions
• Analyze current business processes and recommend improvements using industry best practices
• Conduct functional and gap analyses to define future-state architecture
• Prepare and present reports and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders
• Act as a liaison between business units, technical teams, and vendors to ensure clear communication
• Support enterprise system alignment with evolving business and end-user needs
• Collaborate with partner teams to deliver requirements through user stories, tickets, and design documentation
• Work with technical teams to design and implement integrated IT solutions
• Manage small to medium-sized projects and support larger initiatives with IT project managers
• Coordinate user acceptance testing, documentation, training, and root-cause analysis for system issues
Qualifications
Qualified candidates have experience supporting on-premise and SaaS applications and excel in requirements gathering, process analysis, and system integration. They are able to translate business needs into effective technical solutions and bring strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills to support successful delivery across Agile and Waterfall environments.
• Skills and Abilities 5+ years as a Business Systems Analyst supporting on-premise and SaaS applications
• Strong skills in requirements gathering, business analysis, and process improvement
• Experience integrating third-party applications across complex enterprise environments
• Ability to translate business needs into designs, documentation, and test plans Analytical, detail-oriented problem solver focused on root-cause solutions
• Clear communicator who can engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Collaborative, customer-focused, with experience in Agile and Waterfall methods
• Experience with other enterprise software such as Coupa, SAP EPPM, etc
• Experience working with document management systems like
• OpenText Familiarity with API integrations and data exchange
• Understanding of entity relationships and data structures Railroad or other transportation industry knowledge a bonus
