Schedule: M-F 3:00 AM - 7:30 AM
Job Summary
The Hub Associate is responsible for unloading and sorting in our cross-dock facility. This includes receiving inbound freight from linehaul trucks, classifying freight, and palletizing freight.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Scan packages to confirm receipt
- Move packages from pallets to assigned scan location
- Inspect packaging for defects and damages
- Follow company safety guidelines
- Keep warehouse clean and organized
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications, Skills, & Abilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:
- Ability to use a scanner
- Organizational and time management skills
- Warehouse experience preferred
Work Environment
- Work is performed primarily in a warehouse environment with frequent interruptions from team members and independent contractors, and regular high noise level.
Physical Requirments & Physical Demands
- Must be able to frequently lift or carry 10-20 pounds
- Must be able to regularly lift, carry, or push up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to frequently stand, walk, and reach with arms
- Must be able to maneuver and access all areas of the warehouse
