Job Summary

The Information Technology Intern position offers a valuable learning experience for students or recent graduates seeking to gain practical, hands-on experience and develop skills within a professional Help Desk setting. This role provides an opportunity to apply academic knowledge to real-world projects and learn about the company's operations and industry.   

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist and support assigned teams or departments with various tasks and projects, including those closely related to their area of study.
• Participate in daily operations and learn about the company's workflows and procedures.  
• Conduct research, collect and analyze data, and prepare reports or presentations as needed.  
• Help with administrative tasks such as data entry, organizing documents, and managing databases.  
• Attend meetings, workshops, and other relevant events to gain insights and observe professional interactions.  
• Collaborate with team members, contribute ideas, and actively participate in discussions.  
• Complete assigned tasks within designated timeframes and according to project plans and schedules.  
• Maintain professionalism, uphold company policies, and adhere to ethical standards.  
• Take initiative to learn, ask questions, and seek feedback to enhance skills and performance.   

Qualifications

• Available to work part-time allowing for school schedule
• Pursing a degree in Information Technology, MIS or Business Administration
• Ability to manage and prioritize work effectively to ensure internal timelines are met
• Basic desktop troubleshooting knowledge
• Analytical with strong project management and problem-solving skills
• Team player with a positive attitude and ability to collaborate effectively with others
• Ability to lift and relocate end-user computing devices up to 40 lbs.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment

Education

Must be 18 years of age or older with High School or GED equivalent
