Hourly Pay Rate: $22.00 to $24.00
Schedule: Nights 5:30 PM - 5:30 AM
Job Summary
The CDL Truck Driver is responsible for safely transporting product to customer locations while operating in compliance with all safety, DOT, and company requirements. In this role, drivers operate end dump trailers with manual transmissions to haul coal between the facility and a customer site located approximately ten miles away. Coal is automatically loaded through truck silos. Drivers will complete multiple round trips per shift, typically averaging 12 to 13 loads during a night shift, returning to the site to reload after each delivery.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive truck to established destination to load/ unload per customer requirements
- Inspect truck for defects before and after trips and submit reports indicating truck condition
- Maintain driver logs
- Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs
- Remove snow or other foreign materials from vehicle
- Operate and maintain trucks
- Help, mentor, and train personnel
- Perform all work in compliance with Company standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Class A CDL License -No manual restriction
- Must be 18 years or older
- 1 or more year(s) related experience preferred but not required
- Must be able to pass and or obtain all reporting, testing, and certifications as required for this position

- Works well with a team, takes direction and follows work rules, as well as take on additional job responsibilities as needed or assigned

- Maintain regular, dependable attendance and a high level of performance
- Flexibility required; ability to work days, nights, weekends, holidays. Must be able to work 12-hour shifts
