Job Summary

The Clerk provides essential administrative and clerical support to ensure smooth daily office operations. This role helps maintain an organized and efficient work environment by managing records, handling correspondence, and assisting with general office tasks such as communications and data entry. Success in this position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a proactive, team-oriented approach. This position requires a high level of organization and proficiency in basic office software.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Administrative support: Answer and redirect incoming phone calls, take messages, and respond to emails in a professional and timely manner 
• Document and record management: Accurately file, copy, and update both physical and electronic documents and records. Maintain organized filing and database systems for easy retrieval 
• Data entry: Enter and update information into spreadsheets, databases, and company software with high speed and accuracy 
• Office coordination: Monitor and maintain inventory of office supplies. Place orders and restock items as needed to ensure the office is well-equipped 
• Mail handling: Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages. Prepare outgoing mail and documents for delivery 
• Basic bookkeeping: Assist with basic financial tasks, such as processing invoices, recording expenses, and managing payments 
• Scheduling and events: Manage calendars, schedule appointments and meetings, and assist with planning office-wide events or travel arrangements 
• Customer service: Greet and assist visitors, clients, or customers with inquiries and requests    

Qualifications

• Must be organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in office software. Requires experience with data entry, record management, scheduling, and basic bookkeeping
• Strong communication and customer service skills are essential for supporting daily office operations efficiently
• Previous experience in an administrative or clerical role is preferred, but on-the-job training is often provided
• Previous hands-on experience in a mechanic role is essential
• Specializations may require additional training or an apprenticeship.
