Location Information

Located in northwest North Dakota, our Tioga Terminal handles the loading of crude oil and natural gas into rail tanker cars.

 

Position Description

 

  • Responsible for a Team of operators.
  • Provide direction for the loading of railcars and verify that paperwork is correctly completed.
  • Ensure the following:
  • Verify all transfers are performed.
  • Proper Personal Protective Equipment is worn by all Teammates.
  • All drivers, visitors, contractors, and Teammates are conforming to company policies.
  • All daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual preventive maintenance is being performed on equipment.
  • All Personal Protective Equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
  • All pre-loading, loading, and post loading procedures are maintained.
  • All Equipment Pre shift/post shift inspections and inspection papers properly performed and completed
  • Coordinate, prepare, and/or present employee training.
  • Assist Teammates in troubleshooting difficulties in all operations at their assigned work area
  • Confer with management regarding operational and employee issues.
  • Assist management with recommendations on employee performance, safety, and incentive activity.
  • Identify, report, and correct safety and environmental concerns.
  • Complete appropriate documentation and paperwork.
  • Perform all work in compliance with Watco standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in and present daily/weekly safety meetings. 
  • Coordinate the completion of general preventative maintenance activities, repairs, and housekeeping tasks. A high degree of cleanliness and organization should be maintained.
  • Perform any other terminal functions as trained, requested, and instructed by supervisor.                                                  
  • Must be willing to obtain CPR & First Aid Certification as required. 
  • Must be willing to obtain Lock Out/Tag Out Certification as required.                                                                  
  • Other duties as assigned.


Experience / Specific Knowledge

 

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Work, and database applications.
  • Experience using hand tools performing general maintenance tasks.
  • Competent in Hazardous and Non Hazardous waste paperwork.
  • Maintain daily supplies for operational needs.                                                                                                            
  • Ability to communicate / coordinate with all departments

  • PPE: hard hat, safety glasses, splash goggles, face shield, FR clothing, gloves, steel toe boots (lace up)

 

Requirements

 

  • Possess a valid Driver’s License.
  • Ability to pass training and required testing.
  • Must be willing to work all shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed and required.
  • Must be available to respond to call-out as assigned.
  • Perform work in all types of temperature/weather conditions
