Starting Pay Rate: $24.00 per hour
Location Information
Located in northwest North Dakota, our Tioga Terminal handles the loading of crude oil and natural gas into rail tanker cars.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform the safe transfer, loading, and unloading of liquid materials between transportation and storage systems (such as railcars and trucks) in accordance with established procedures and site-specific requirements
- Start, stop, and operate mechanical or process equipment (such as pumps, motors, or control systems) safely and within defined operating parameters
- Climb onto top and underneath railcars in order to inspect, hook up, disconnect and seal.
- Operate in a manner where safety and environmental protection are of the highest importance
- Maintain regular, dependable attendance and a high level of performance
- Follow written and verbal instructions, communicate effectively, and complete assigned tasks on schedule
- Read, write, and communicate in English; apply basic math as required
- Complete all required documentation, recordkeeping, and daily inventory accurately and timely
- Prepare, operate, and monitor equipment and tools to safely perform product transfer and other site operations
- Perform daily inspections on all stationary and mobile equipment as required
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and compliance with Watco standards
- Help, mentor, and train team members within the department as needed
- Perform all work in compliance with company standards, procedures, and all applicable federal/state regulations
- Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
- Participate in safety and job briefings; share and receive information from team members, management, and customers
- Work as part of a team, take direction, and adapt to changing priorities
- Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or shift work as needed to support operations
- Other duties as assigned
